March 2019 - My Birthday 80s style and Spring Break Trip to San Diego!

March was another busy but fun month! We celebrated my birthday 80s style with a group of friends at a dueling piano bar. We had a blast. Big thanks to my mom who helped with hair and makeup! I have been blessed with some awesome friends here in Texas!

This is my friend Troy - we have been friends/colleagues for over 10 years. The picture doesn't do his glasses justice - they had their own battery pack and light up! Classic!

We have been taking family vacations during the kids spring break which has been a ton of fun. The kids are off school and we have been able to secure some decent deals. This year I wanted to take Carter to Legoland - because he is certainly into all things Lego. So we put our heads together and combined all our favorite things. We took a trip to San Diego and hit up LegoLand and then the San Diego Zoo - then to round out our trip we took a Disney Cruise on the Disney Wonder to the Baja Mexico. It was a fabulous vacation with our favorite travel partners - Jeff, Kristen and Maggie!

We finally were able to board the beautiful Disney Wonder. We have been on this boat 5 times - so this trip we made Gold Status! We always have such a great time on this boat - we enjoy awesome meals, fantastic entertainment, great kids club activities and the adults enjoy fantastic drinks and fun bar games! Here are some pictures from the trip.

First meal at Tritons! We are officially in our happy place!

These two were magicians on the boat that the kids thought were amazing!

Our room host surprised the kids one night with the special sheets for both Carter and Riley.

We were blessed on this cruise with an awesome waitstaff - Jason and Antionette they were amazing and took great care of us all!

The last night is the sail away party and the last time the kids get to see all the characters. Carter was in tears after the sail away party - he did not want to leave... but at least they got one more chance to see all their friends!

Notice how far away from Captain Hook they are - they were scared
