Carters 2nd Birthday Party

This year it was a no brainer for Carter's birthday party theme. He is obsessed with all things Mickey Mouse and with the Disney Cruise this year... its the year of Disney! His theme was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and I was very pleased with how it turned out. We decided to host his party at a new venue that I was referred to from a friend called Lone Star Athletics (LSA). Once I visited the place, I knew it would be a great fit. The place is full of padded floors, trampolines, and blow up ball pits. There was nothing the kids could get hurt on and toms of space for the kids to run around and play. What more could I ask for? We booked the weekend after his birthday since Paw Paw and Granny were in DC the weekend of his birthday for Caroline's party and given this was a long weekend with Presidents Day and Mardi Gras it just made sense to do it on Valentine's Day.  I figured we could wear all the kids out so the parents could enjoy a restful night! The party turned out exactly as I hoped! We had a great turnout of his friends and they all seemed to have a blast running around and playing. There was no crying, no injuries, and the kids did not want to leave so I consider that to be a victory! Carter is so blessed that he has such a great group of friends and family to share his special day with. Another one in the books... still cannot believe my baby boy is 2!
