My baby is 7 months. Wow, thats just so hard to believe. We went to the Dr a week ago and he weighs 19.25 pounds. Its crazy that Riley currently only weighs 10 pounds more than Carter. I am so grateful to say that Carter is a healthy and happy little boy. He is learning new things by the day so its hard to keep up! He is moving around the room these days pretty quickly. He is not yet up on his knees crawling but army crawls and rolls to get everything that he wants. Once he has his eyes set on something he wants, he figures out a way to get it. He babbles a lot and makes sounds and noises that sound very much like da da. He is happy most of the time and is easily entertained with anyone looking and talking to him. He still only has his two bottom teeth but he is constantly biting and sucking anything he can get his hands on so I am sure more will arrive shortly. I am not in a rush for more teeth because I can hear Riley now yelling," MOM Carter bit me!"
Last weekend Granny and Paw Paw came to visit so of course we had a busy but fun filled weekend. Riley loves when Paw Paw comes and cannot wait to ask for a trip to the local fire station. Last trip she got scared of the firemen but this time she was so excited! They fed ducks, went swinging, swam in the pool, etc... Riley has a power wheel car that she has been terrified to ride in but Paw Paw had her driving all over in her car last weekend. She has now conquered that fear! Riley is still in the process of her transition over to the "Big class" at school (Classroom for kids 3-5 also called primary). She visited last week for the second time and this visit went much better than the last! I am so proud of my big girl!
Justin and I decided Santa was going to bring the kids a swing set for Christmas. We went and found one last weekend and got a great deal on one that was already assembled they used for a photo shoot. Part of the deal is that you have it delivered within 2 weeks so Christmas at the Harrison house will be in September! We have spent the week telling Riley if she is good, Santa will come early. We will see how this one works out!
Overall things here are going fantastic! We are on our final countdown to the Disney Cruise!!!!
