The End of the Toddler Room for Riley

I knew the end of the toddler room was coming for Riley but I did not think it would have happened this fast. Today Riley and I said goodbye to the teachers in the toddler room.  Where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday I walked her into the class for the first time. I have grown very close to her teachers so this change is tough for me too! I have so much respect and appreciation for these women that have helped shaped my daughter into the precious little girl she is today. They have taught her so much and they have made her into such an independent woman. She went in there an 18 month old that was just starting to talk and has left a 2 and a half year old that talks in complete sentences, is fully potty trained, know all her ABC's, knows all her shapes (this includes trapezoids, rhombus, and octagons to name a few..) can count to 25 in english, 10 in spanish, knows her colors (in english and spanish), knows all of her sounds and can read a ton of sight words. The list goes on and on. I have learned through my childcare experience thus far that not all teachers are great. It takes a special kind of person to properly teach children and we could not have been more blessed with the three ladies that have taught Riley. I already have Carter on the waiting list for the same class with the same teacher. As a mom that works outside the home, there is no better feeling than heading to work knowing that your child is in great hands.

Here are some photos of her last day:
