Riley and her World Map

Years ago Justin and I went to New York City for Christmas. We walked into FAO Schwartz and were browsing around the toys and talking about all the fun things we would get our kids when we had some. We found this world map and thought it was so neat! Justin and I talked about how when we had kids we would get them one just like this! Well last December we were in Toys R Us shopping for Riley for Christmas and to our surprise they started carrying a line of FAO Schwartz toys and there was the world map. Of course Justin and I had to get that for Riley! This huge, colorful felt map came with more than 60 removable pieces to help kids learn about different continents, countries, bodies of water, animals and more! It also comes with an answer key to illustrate for you where each piece should be placed. After Christmas Justin and I hung the map on the wall in her room and started playing with her. She loves animals and had a lot of fun naming all the animals and then putting them on the map in the correct location. We recently started with the continents and she has all those down! Next we will work on oceans! I finally remembered to video her showcasing her skills on her map. I know the clip is long but its entertaining! Carter is in the background giving a little voice over :)

I also wanted to show the video of Riley riding her horse we gave her for her birthday. I particularly wanted to show Grandma Renton as I used to have a horse just like Riley has (Rocky) and I know Grandma gave that to me. I loved that horse and Riley loves hers too! Grandma does this video bring back memories?
