Fathers day weekend fun

The summer has been really fun for all of us! The weather is hot so we have been spending a lot of time in our pool. Last weekend for Fathers day we decided to go blueberry picking. Both my brothers and sister in laws joined us and we headed to Conroe for a fun day. Sure it was hot and we had three kids with us... so you know with that comes a few challenges but I thought it was a great time! The kids were good and we got a good bit of blueberries. It surely would be something that I would like to do again!

Carter is officially sleeping un-swaddled! We started him in the swaddle and then moved him to his sleep suit and he was doing great but the doctor said we had to cut that out between 4-6 months... so last weekend we bit the bullet and started sleeping unswaddled. Luckily he has transitioned very well! He is sleeping upstairs in his room and is free to move around! On occasion he wakes up at 3:30 AM to eat but for the most part he sleeps through the night. We have been very lucky. Both kids have been battling congestion, coughs and runny noses. Not sure what is going on! I thought it was allergies with Riley but then Carter started too and I am not sure how his are allergies because he is hardly outside. Even with the runny nose and coughing they are both in great spirits.

Carter and I started back at the Lifetime Fitness gym by my house. I was nervous about how he would do in the childcare center but this was our first week and he has done great! I am very much enjoying getting back in the gym and my one hour break!

We had some friends and family come over on fathers day to spend the day in the pool. Riley's good friend Emma came over and swam with her. Riley and Emma I think swam for 3-4 hours. They were exhausted after but they certainly did have a great time!

When Riley is home, I cannot take a picture of Carter without taking a photo of Riley too. She gets very upset if she is not in the photo. Carter still adores her so he does not mind!
