October 2018 - Karate, Soccer, Halloween and All Saints day!

October is always a fun time of year with Halloween and all fun fall activities around here. Our church always has the parish festival at this time and the kids always enjoy that! Riley and Carter are both pretty fearless and really enjoy rock climbing to the top of the wall.

Carter has continued his karate and this month he tested for his white belt with a red stripe. All the kids were able to test in their halloween costumes which Carter thought was super neat. Of course since he had to do karate in his costume a ninja was a likely choice!

We took the kids to another annual tradition the Good Shepard Fall Festival. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a ton of fun!

Riley is recovering well from her surgery and it was a great day when we could finally wash her hair! Dry shampoo is helpful but 7 days with no hair washings is not easy!

Soccer season is back in full swing. Riley had to sit out a few games post op but was ready to jump back in action with her team mates on the kicking kangaroos.

Really love this team and blessed to have such a fun group of girls and a great coach

We had an open house at school and Carter was excited to show off his hard work!

Riley and I took Luca to chuck to get blessed by the priest

The kids had quite the Halloween this year filled with many actives. The school had a trunk or treat - the town had a trunk or treat, pumpkin patches and the real halloween. We made the most of it and got plenty of use out of our costumes this year!

Can't finish the season without all saints day at the Catholic School!
