March 2017 - Soccer, Rodeo, field trip... and house goes on the market!

March was a crazy month for us because we listed our home for sale. This was a tough decision for us as a family because we love our home and our neighborhood. We made this decision with the hopes of simplifying our crazy life. The kids go to school in Kingwood and it takes about 30 minutes to get there in the morning and 45 min to get home in the evening. Its just too much road time for mom and dad and we felt this would help give us back time for homework and family time. This home is very special to our family... we brought our babies home to this house! The getting the home ready for sale and the designing the new house has kept me quite busy so apologizes for the backlog of posts!

Louisiana has Mardi Gras and Texas has rodeo season. Its a BIG deal here and its celebrated the entire month of March. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is a month of concerts, rodeo events and carnival. The kids have go Texas day at school and have rodeo celebrations. Below are some pictures of Carter for his classes Rodeo day.

It was not Riley's Rodeo day but she wanted a picture anyway

Quite the handsome cowboy!

The class craft was wanted pictures!

Riley played spring soccer again this season. Her team was the Blue Angels and most of her friends from last year returned to the team. They were a great team and her friend Reagan's dad Tony coached and was great with the girls. Riley has really come into her own as an athlete and is playing very well. She is starting to get very competitive and enjoy winning! She had a great season!

Maggie loves to watch and play soccer. She made it to a few of Riley's games and loved watching sissy play! She cheered for her the entire time and wanted to know when it was her turn to play. Maggie will be making her soccer debut this summer!

Car loaded with kids and headed to the field!

A fun exhibit called Dinosaur Quest came to town so we decided to take all the kids to check it out. Carter is obsessed with Dinosaurs and to be honest we were a little nervous about Maggie getting scared. Maggie I think had the best time of all. It was a super fun Sunday and the kids we able to pet and ride dinosaurs. Maggie still talks about it months later!

Riley had her first field trip this year as a kindergartner. I had the opportunity to chaperone and had so much fun. We had a great group of girls and spent the day at the Houston Zoo. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a great time!
