April 2015

April was another busy but month full of adventures for us. Luckily we have all been home with no travels and been able to enjoy quality family time. Riley and dad have been busy with rehearsals for the upcoming daddy daughter dance. We searched high and low for the perfect white dress for Riley to wear on stage and we finally found it! I am so excited to see her and dad on stage for their grand performance! Riley has expressed interest in playing soccer so we enrolled her in an indoor sports complex owned by a classmate called JC Sports. We really liked this place because they are not just going to put her on a team and let her chase the ball, they take time to teach them lessons and the fundamentals of the game. So far she really has enjoyed the game.

Carter is still my sweet little boy. He is still about the same with potty training, doing amazing at school and still struggling at home. I think at home he gets so excited to play he forgets to go potty. The Dr says this is normal so we will just be patient and continue to give him time. He still loves all things sports and does not understand why his sister can play soccer but he cannot. He went the first practice but I avoid taking him because he is not a fan of watching her play and not getting to play himself. He got a baseball bat and tee for Easter and he loves to play baseball. He is actually getting pretty good at hitting! He is learning a lot in school and is doing well with his counting. If I can get him to count slow he does very well!

Here are some of our photos:
