April outdoor fun and Easter 2014

The weather around here has been great so we have been spending a lot of time outdoors. The pool is not quite ready to swim but we have been enjoying our swing set, water table and other outside play toys. A few more days of warm weather and we will all be soaking in the pool! The kids are keeping us busy with their activities. We had an "I can teach night" with Riley at her school a few weeks ago. I love that her school hosts these events. It gives Justin and I a chance to go to her school and let her teach us all the lessons she is working on in class. The teachers were there to help the kids but its really impressive to see the math, science, practical life, etc... lessons they work on... sometimes I have to remind myself she is ONLY THREE! Carter is visiting the toddler room at his school and they have said he will be changing classrooms within the next month. His school does not know it but he will be leaving that school and starting Riley's school this summer. I CANNOT wait! Both kids at the same school will make my life so much easier! Our neighborhood had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids a few weeks ago that the kids really enjoyed. Luckily this year neither of my kids were scared of the Easter bunny. Easter weekend we had Granny and Paw paw come and visit and Nanny had her family in town so we had a busy weekend with all our families. It was so nice to have everyone in town to celebrate the holiday with us. Riley and Carter got lots of fun toys for Easter. Riley got a princess bike with training wheels that she loves. Carter man got a basketball hoop! The kids overall had a great day!
