2013 Harrison Family Halloween

Halloween has become one of my favorite holidays. I love dressing up the kids! I have gotten into the routine of making our costumes (with the help of my wonderful sister in law Kristen). This year I knew I wanted to do something with both kids and the LSU theme seemed perfect. At first we were going to do the tiger and an LSU cheerleader...simple and easy to find.. until one day watching an LSU game we saw the Golden Girls and thought... THAT'S IT! So Kristen and I got to work finding the supplies we needed to make our costume and I must say, Riley's outfit was PERFECT! I was so pleased with how great it came out! Carter was the cutest tiger I have ever seen and he did not even fight me to put on his costume. I covered our wagon to look like the LSU Tiger cage and Carter was perfectly content just riding down the street in his cage. Riley Loved her costume and marched up and down the street with her tap shoes and cape on. We had excellent weather and the kids had a great time.

Riley had a fall festival at school last week and the kids were allowed to come in their costumes. Because RIley's costume was home made and I did not want to risk her ruining it I let her wear her snow white dress up clothes that a friend of ours gave her (Thanks Stef!). She was so excited to wear that since she is obsessed with the disney princesses. She looked so cute and had a blast showing off her dress to all her friends.
