Carter is three months... crazy how fast my kids are growing up. We have not been to the doctor but I estimate Carter is about 14 pounds and is looking good and healthy. He is a super happy baby and this past week he has started to do really well with naps. I am getting him to take naps in his crib and he is sleeping at times up to 2.5 hours! He is waking up so happy too so I am very pleased. We are still working on getting our routine solid but we are making steps in the right direction. This weekend I have even had them both napping at the same time! Talk about Bliss!!
Riley and I had her months day breakfast at school this week. It was really cute and she made me a magnet and I got a flower that she has been growing. My mothers day card was written in spanish, so I was impressed. She is still doing fantastic in school and they are talking about moving her to the primary classroom early - that classroom is typically kids 3 and older. Her teacher says educationally she is ready and feels if we wait until January to move her we may be doing her an injustice as she will get bored in the class she is in now. We will see when the change occurs and how she does with it.
We had a fantastic Mothers day weekend! Justin and the kids got me awesome presents and spoiled me rotten with lots of playtime outside, workouts and fantastic dinners. We took the kids out to dinner on Friday night (yes BOTH of them) and to our absolute delight they were fantastic!
Justin and I will celebrate our 5 year anniversary this year in August and we have decided to celebrate by taking a Disney Cruise as a family at the end of September. The cruise leaves out of Galveston and heads to the Bahamas. We are all very excited!
