Carter is growing like a weed and is already two months. We went to his two month checkup today and he is 11 pounds 3 ounces! He is the exact same weight and height that Riley was at the same age. The doctor is very pleased with his progress and says he is the picture of health! He is still an excellent baby and is only waking me once at night to eat and thats not until around 4-5 AM. It almost feels like I am getting a full nights sleep! We started working out last week at the YMCA and Carter has done well in the childcare. The ladies that watch him love him and enjoy cuddling with him for an hour. I am happy I can get an hour to work out and know that he is in good hands. He is still struggling with naps and will sleep in the car, with me holding him or occasionally in my bed when I am laying with him. At night he is perfect so I am not sure why we have this nap issue but we are working on it. Hopefully we can get that worked out before long.
Riley is still doing great and is a great big sister. She is getting so big! She is still doing great at school and loving it! They are working with her on counting. She knows her numbers up to 20 but when you give her something to count she just says her numbers and does not concentrate on what she is counting. We will need to continue to work with her on that. She does know all her sounds though which impressed me a ton. Potty training is still a work in progress. She gets too occupied with what she is doing and does not want to stop and use the restroom. I would say she is about 70% there so still some work to do but we are making progress.
