Halloween 2012

Halloween is super fun with kids. We had a good time last year but I knew this year would be better. I told Justin last year that this year I wanted to do a family costume. Since we have to walk with Riley anyway I thought it would be nice for us all to get in the spirit of things. I also decided that I was not going to be one of those people that spends crazy amounts of money on costumes. I wanted to test my hands at making our costumes. After surfing the web and pinterest I found the Flinstones Idea. Riley would make the perfect pebbles I thought. So I went to Wal mart and bought some cheap bedsheets in the white and orange and black colors that I would need. I was able to grab the sheets for 5.00! I Bought Riley an oversized pink shirt from target and a bone clip I found in a halloween store for 1.99 and we started crafting. I am not too crafty but I try my best. My wonderful sister in law Kristen and her mom helped me and I must say I was VERY pleased with the finished product. We got so many compliments on our costumes while we were our trick or treating. A lot of women told me how lucky I was that Justin cooperated and they said their husbands would never. I am lucky and I know he had a blast. Now I have to get thinking about what we can do next year with our family of 4! Here are some of our photos:
