Fall Fun!

I cannot believe we are already to the end of October, I just feel like time is moving at warp speed! We have been busy but having fun as usual. We are finishing our final touches on Halloween then we will be starting to get busy crafting for Riley's 2nd party (which is only 6 weeks away!) The weather has been great so we have been spending a lot of time outside. Riley loves playing in the backyard so we spend as much time as we can back there. This weekend we had Riley's fall festival at school and took Riley to a pumpkin patch. She had a blast running around and trying to pick up all the pumpkins. Her favorite things these days are the moon and bugs (bees and spiders are her absolute favorite). I have no idea why my child has a fascination for bugs but she does. She is scared of nothing. She has started talking in more sentences and communicates very well for her age. She is still doing excellent at school and continues to learn new things every day. Her eating is still a struggle, trying to figure out what to feed a toddler can be quite the challenge. She loves veggie pasta and grilled chicken so she gets minimal variety but hey, at least its healthy! Pouches (baby food thats in a capri sun like container) are always a crowd pleaser in this house too. I pick my battles with her but at least we have not and hopefully will not resort to mac and cheese and chicken nuggets for dinner. I will try my best to maintain healthy eating habits while I can. We are going to start getting Riley's big girl room ready during the Thanksgiving break. I cannot believe it is already time to think about that! Ugh, time really does fly with these kids!

Here are some photos from our recent outings:
