Spring has arrived

So the weather in our area has been awesome so we have been spending as much time as we can outside. Riley's school had a spring carnival last weekend that we had a blast attending. Most of the rides were too big for Riley but she did LOVE the petting zoo! My child has no fear of anything and ran up to all the animals and did her version of petting them (which realistically is more like smacking them) the same way she does to Luca. We are going to have to teach her that not all animals are that nice! Last weekend we also had someone come out to start the process of a child fence to block Riley from the pool. Riley loves water too much and frankly I am getting tired of chasing her in the backyard. The fence should be complete this week so we are super excited about that! This weekend we had a ton of fun playing outside at our neighborhood spring carnival and playing at a friends house. So as you can tell we have been super busy!

Riley has been doing great! Her newest trick is blowing kisses but I have yet to get that on film. We had our 15 month checkup and she is 23.4 LBS (80%) and 50% in height. The doctor is not ready to pull the trigger on ear tubes yet. She is hopeful that Riley will not get any ear infections during the summer and we will see what happens next winter. Hopefully Riley grows out of it! The doctor was also very pleased with her development. For some crazy reason for the past 2 weeks Riley has eating something that not sat well with her and she has thrown up. Both times it was at school and we had to go pick her up. Last week on Thursday night I was rocking her before bed and she threw up all over me! Head to toe! I guess that was my official indoctrination of being a mom. Other than that she is doing great and is such a happy little girl. She LOVES to be outside and would live there if I would let her. While inside all she wants to do is chase the dog and pull his tail. Thank goodness we have a great and patient dog! We are getting ready for the eater bunny and excited for Grandma and Grandpa to come and visit!

Here are some pictures from our latest adventures:

Riley checking out the goats at the petting zoo

This turtle is 65 years old! Riley loved him!

She is reaching up to pet the llama. He was at least 3 times her size but she did not mind

Walking with daddy

Close up after playing in the sprinklers. I just love that face!

Soaking wet and loving every min of it!

She thinks she is going in my house all wet... think again Riley!

Wherever Luca goes, Riley is right beside him

She even tries to sleep on him

Climb on him

Wrestle him... and that poor dog just lets her do it

This was a sick day.. she passed out on the sofa... poor baby

Ready for my neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt
