Riley took her first car ride yesterday and came home! Justin was so nervous driving with her but he did fine. She seemed to really like the car! The night before we left the hospital, they told us she has jaundice. We had to give her some formula and they took her for some blood tests and things seemed to be moving in the right direction. She has been sleeping well and remains a very happy baby.
Today we took her for her first doctors appointment. She lost some weight which is normal she is 6 pounds and 13.5 oz. She grew a little she is now 19.5 inches long. The doctor is happy with her progress and she still has jaundice but the doctor is not at all concerned. Justin and I were very relieved to hear things are all moving in the right direction. Other than that we have been hanging around the house, spending time with grandparents. Here are a few photos.
