We have been truly enjoying our summer! Lots of pool time and fun with family! The kids are still in school and during summer they have in house field trips and splash days so school has been a lot of fun. Both Riley and Carter are doing fantastic in school and we could not be prouder!

Fathers day was super fun this year! Since we recently had the father daughter dance I thought I would give daddy a gift that captured the dance. I searched for the perfect gift and ended up making him a photo canvas with a photo of him and Riley dancing and the picture was matted in the song that they danced to. He absolutely loved it! I had two picture and I couldn't chose so I made dad two!

Carter had cupcakes sent to daddy and he loved them. We are blessed with a great daddy and two amazing kiddos. 

After presents we surprised daddy and uncle Jeff with a delicious brunch. Both uncle Jeff were surprised and we had a blast! Its so nice to be able to spend holidays with family!

After brunch we all headed back to our house for a fun day of swimming. Riley and Carter are both in swim lessons this year and doing fantastic. Riley is truly a fish and would live in the water if we let her. She is completely self sufficient in the water and can swim the entire length of our pool! She has learned how to dive for her dive sticks and to swim backstroke! Justin and I still get nervous because that kid does not rest! She wears herself out in the water! Carter is doing very well and enjoys his lessons. He is learning how to kick and blow his bubbles and loves to play in the water. We spend as much time as we can in the water!

Each year I try to take Riley to a play at the theater. This year is Cindarella came so Me, Riley and Nanny went. It was a great play but it was not the disney version so it the differences were a little confusing for Riley. She spend the second half of the show dancing and putting on her own performance on the balcony. She loved all the dresses in the performance! She is truly my little fashionista!
