Riley's 4th Birthday

We celebrated Riley's 4th birthday this year at a new venue called Rolland Ballards. Its a local gymnastics studio and my daughter loves to climb and all things gymnastics so I thought this would be a perfect place! Riley had decided months ago that the theme of this party was going to be Frozen because that is her absolute favorite! We hosted the party on December 13 and had a great turnout! I still cannot believe my baby girl is 4! Her daddy and I could not be prouder of our sweet girl. Here are some party pictures.

At Riley's School we every year do a Celebration of life with her class. Justin and I are able to go to class and celebrate her life by talking about her 4 years and bringing a healthy snack to share with her friends. They put a candle on the rug (the candle represents the sun) and place the months of the year around the candle. Riley holds the earth in her hand and walks around the candle as her friends in her class sing... the earth goes around the sun chala, the earth goes around the sun Chala, ....... They do this once for each year of her life. After each year the teacher talks about some milestones Riley had that year. On her first year we talked about her meeting all her extended family.... during this part she told her class that Paw Paw and Granny live in Alaska. I have no idea why but sometimes when she gets put on the spot.... she gets kinda shy. When they talked about what she did when she was 2... All she talked about was the Disney Cruse. The teacher kept pressing her as the major life event was Carters coming into our family but she said the biggest thing was our cruise. When the teacher asked about Carter... she replied... Yeah and he went on the cruise too! That kid always does something to keep us laughing!
