Carter is 10 months

This post is a little late.. but we have been in overdrive lately. Yes my little man is ten months old! I am procrastinating starting to plan the 1st birthday because I am in complete disbelief that we are already to that time. Carter is growing like a weed and getting bigger by the day. He still has the most amazing little personality and is just a joy to be around. He is doing fantastic at daycare. By day 4 he did not even cry at drop off. The ladies at his daycare love him and know the way to his heart... food! Since he started school, he has really started being much more independent! I thought for sure he would be even more attached to me when he came home because he was not with me all day but the complete opposite has happened. He does not have to have his eyes on me at all times anymore. I must admit, part of me misses that but it is nice to be able to come home and let him play while I prepare dinner. Its kinda hard to prepare a meal with a 20 pound little guy on your hip! I know I will regret saying this too but he has not been sick yet! I have been so blessed with this healthy guy! He has had the sniffles but no fever and I thought for sure daycare would change that. So far so good! Carter's favortie thing to do is eat. He loves pretty much everything I give him. He loves finger foods like puffs and cheerios and will eat as many as you can give him. He eats any and all baby food. We are working on table food. He will devour a waffle for breakfast with absolutely no problem. He struggles with some textures and will spit up some solids so we have some more work to do in that area. He is crawling all over and pulling up on everything. He stands on his own for a few seconds too. He just learned how to wave bye bye and its too cute! He is talking a lot these days too. He says Ma Ma, Da da and he says bye bye! Growing way too fast! Here are some photos:
