Carter man is 6 months!

Wow, Carter is six months... its hard for me to even say that. He is rolling all over the place, jumping in his bouncer and doorway swing like a maniac and even babbling quite a bit. He has changed so much and is growing up too fast! He has his two bottom teeth starting to come out and I know his teeth are bothering him quite a bit. He is not fussy but likes to put everything and anything into his his mouth to scratch his gums. Carter is an avid outdoorsman and loves to sit in his bouncy chair and check out everything going on around him. He loves the weekend when we are all in the pool and he happily sits on the pool deck kicking and watching everyone play in the pool. He is eating three meals a day of baby food and seems to be tolerating it quite well. He is trying to sit up on his own but is not quite there yet. I know it will not be long!

I just enrolled Riley in Dance and I am so excited. She starts her dance class at the end of the month. I am hoping she enjoys it! I cannot wait for her recital! She is still doing great in school and is enjoying bossing around all the new kids in her class. Her teacher is trying to potty train some of the kids so Riley helps them and sits in the bathroom with them and tells them its not scary and will cheer for them when they go. She is too much sometimes! She is at the age where she wants to do everything by herself and she is still testing the waters to see what she can get away with. She is just like me so I know I am going to have my hands full! Luckily, it seems like Carter has his daddy's personality :)

This past weekend Granny and Paw paw came to visit and celebrate paw paw's birthday! The kids were very excited to see them and had a blast playing with them. Riley is for sure Paw Paw's girl and does not leave his side the entire time he is here. We had lots of fun!
