As anyone reading my blog knows, I am 20 weeks pregnant with baby #2. Justin and I wanted to find out but felt it was really important for us to all find out together as a family. Since I did not want to bring Riley to the Dr we decided on doing a gender reveal box and filling it with balloons and having Riley open it. Justin was not on board at first but I was able to convince him, I think he really just did not have the patience to wait to find out. We went to the ultrasound on Monday, September 17 and Justin and I both were able to see our new baby move around and how well he is progressing. We turned our heads when they determined the gender and we had them write it down and seal it in an envelope. On Wednesday night Justin and I decorated our box and on Thursday I brought it to party city and gave the guy explicit instructions to open the envelope when I walked out, fill the box with the balloons and then seal it back and call me and I would go and pick it up. We were so lucky to have Jeff and Kristen participate in our special event! I was convinced this baby was another girl so I was totally in shock but Justin and I could not be happier.
