Riley went to the doctor this week for her 9 month appointment. She weights 19 pounds and 14.5 ounces. She is 75% for weight. Her height is two feet four and three quarter inches. She is in the 95% for height. I am still amazed by that and Justin and I both think that will change over time. The doctor said her ears are cleared up from the minor ear infection last week but we got on a new antibiotic for thrush - which was caused by the first antibiotic to fight the ear infection. If its not one thing, its another! She got her flu shot which has left her feeling not so great. Overall it was a good visit and Dr Butler was very happy with her progress. She did tell me that by 12 months, Riley will need to be completely off the bottle. This worries me as Riley is still not that great of an eater. I am not sure what is her deal but she is just not interested in solid foods. I hope this will change soon!
Her two top teeth have broken the skin and are now showing a little. Riley is moving so fast Justin and I are having trouble keeping up. Yesterday before we went to take our 9 month professional photos Justin and I put her on her mat in the living room to have her bottle while we were in the kitchen unloading groceries. In the 5 minutes that we were not looking, she dropped the bottle and crawled all the way from the living room into the master bathroom to dump a big dog bowl we have of water for Luca. By the time I turned around to find her, she was coming out of the master bathroom soaking wet! Every day when I come home from work I get changed and let her play in my room on the floor. I always pick up the water bowl because I know she wants to dump it over. Well this time she beat me to it! Its amazing how fast and smart she is!

Below are Riley's proofs from a photo session they had at daycare. She was sick so I had no hope they would come out cute. I was pleasantly surprised at how they came out!
Below are her 9 month photos. Riley was not cooperative at all. This was the worst she has ever been getting her photo taken. I think she was still not feeling so great from her flu shot.

I LOVE the ones of her sitting in the window sill. I hope we can get Conway and her together soon! She's so stinkin' adorable!
