So things with Riley have been fantastic! I am just loving this age. She sits up well and is very observant. She grabs and plays with toys but will also grab your face or your hair and pull. She is moving all over the place. We are not crawling yet but scooting and rolling gets this girl where she needs to go. She has eaten all the stage 1 baby foods and is doing very well with them. Its amazing how much this baby has changed in only 6 months!
Justin and I decided to try and get family photos today with the dog and Riley. In theory it was a good idea. Justin decided it would be a good idea to have the pest control guy come today at 7:45 which meant we would have to keep Riley out of the house for 4 hours. Again, in theory this was all a good idea because we would be at the photo place anyway for at least an hour or two so that would give us something to do. Well last night I packed everything and made sure everyone had outfits, etc.. for the day. We got up at 6:30 so that Justin and I could get dressed before Riley got up at 7 so that we could be ready to go when the pest control guy arrived at 7:45. We are getting ready and at 7:15 Justin goes to get Riley up and prepare to feed her and I am still getting dressed. When Justin was on his way up the stairs the pest control guy knocks on the door. He is 30 min early and I am not dressed and Riley has not been changed or fed. So needless to say the morning started a little rough. Riley never got her morning nap as we were running around and she did not sleep in the car like I thought she would. When we got to the picture place... Riley had decided to use the bathroom in her car seat and it was all over her clothes. Luckily we had traveled with her not in her photo outfit. I have learned my lesson on that one. When we pull into the parking lot.. it starts pouring raining. So I am in the back of the car changing Riley getting soaking wet and the dog is with us going crazy. Needless to say, given the events of the day I was satisfied with the photos we got. Here are the photos:
Luca looks kinda funny here but Riley looks adorable. She loves him!
Its amazing what you can make Luca do with peanut butter!
Not quite crawling yet but getting ready!
Her signature pose
She is doing well with the sitting up
This is one of my favorites
The entire family!
I love the two kids looking at each other. If you look close you can see Riley pulling his fur!
Love this one too
Me and my baby
My family... its crazy but I love it!
This video I took today while playing with Riley. She ONLY laughs like this when playing with Luca. I think she is going to be a dog lover like her mom and dad.
Great pictures!!!!
