I am so proud to announce Riley is 6 months old and officially sat up today! Justin and I are very excited!! Its not perfect by any means but we will take it. Our little girl is doing so well on her milestones! We went to the doctor this week and Riley is 16 pounds and 11 ounces. She was 2 feet and 3 1/8 inches long. The doctor said she is in the 90% in height. Justin and I both laughed at this... since we are both 5'6".
She is starting baby food. We are making progress but its still a little slow. She is eating food two times a day and we have made it through all the stage 1 veggies and have just started fruit. She seems to be doing better each day. She is a messy eater but I am grateful she is eating. She talks a lot and is doing very well making her B and D sounds. The doctor told us it will not be long before we can expect her to say da da! She LOVES Luca our dog. When he comes near her she laughs. She loves to pull his tail and grab him and luckily he just takes her abuse. Justin and I are both thrilled with Riley's progress. We cannot believe we have had Riley for 6 months already! Time is flying but we are enjoying every minute of it!
