August 2018 - Back to School

August is the end of our summer break and the beginning of the back to school routine. Carter had expressed interest in baseball so we found a summer league by the house that we thought would be perfect for him to test out the sport and see if it is something that he is interested in. He was super excited to try and really enjoyed playing. Carter loses attention after awhile but all in all I think he likes the sport. It was good that he got out there and tried!

This month we noticed a bump on Lucas toe - after taking him to the vet and running all over trying to get answers - we found out it was a cancerous cyst and we had to amputate his toe. The good news is it was in one spot and we were able to get it taken care of pretty quickly. Since it was his toe - no matter what type of cone we put on that dog he got to the toe so it took a few trips to the vet and a little longer than it should have to heal. All in all he is better and back to his spry self!

Poor Luca - they love working on him

We had some family time with the cousins and Grandpa was able to capture one good pic of the kiddos

We went to a wedding of some friends of ours in Galveston, Texas on the beach - I was able to capture a few good ones of the kiddos

School started and I could not be happier! I have a second grader and a kindergartner! Time is going so fast but I am so relieved that we are out of preschool! Carter has the same teacher he did at the end of last year and I like her a lot! Riley has Ms. Garnica and I have heard amazing things about her. I am praying for a great year for my two!

Our neighbor Bryce is starting St Marthas Preschool and wanted in the picture

This is our street so far - lucky to have great friends
