Riley's Preschool Graduation

I did not want this day to come.. my little girl graduating from Preschool? How can it be that we are already wearing our first cap and gown? This day is so emotional for me... and there are quite a few reasons. First is my baby... she is and always will be little in my eyes.. and moving on to REAL school? Kindergarten? Second, the school... this place is a second home for me and my kids. These people have played a huge part in raising my wonderful daughter and without them I could not have gone back to work and felt comfortable leaving her. These people potty trained her, taught her how to nap on a mat, taught her how to read and write, kissed and bandaged every cut and scrape she had and taught her what love and true friendship  are all about. I love the school, the teachers and all the friend she has made here and I can only hope the next chapter will be as awesome as this one was.

The day finally came and the ceremony was so cute! Riley had a speaking part that she worked really hard on and did such a great job with! They sang plenty of cute songs (you raise me up, its a small world, you have a friend in me) and all received diplomas from their teachers. All of Riley's cousins and uncles made the ceremony and joined us for a fun Mexican lunch after. We met up with some classmates that evening for some play and delicious food. It was an amazing day celebrating a very special little girl.

We recently found out Riley has a spot in the Kindergarten class at St Martha's School in Kingwood! We are beyond excited for out little girl to start Catholic School in the fall. We already bought some uniforms... or as Riley calls them Unicorns! Sneak Peak..don't ask why she flexes but its her thing:
